Fujifilm X-T2 Mirrorless Camera Overview

Why I Love it!

The Pictures: The Fujifilm X-T2 is my main go-to camera, and I absolutely love it! Sure, this model is barely older than it’s new sibling the X-T3 and the X-T4, but it’s still absolutely relevant as a great camera. The photos this camera produces are very nice, and the JPEGS are fantastic! Don’t like spending tons of time dealing with RAW files? Then the JPEGS this camera spits out will make you very happy. I do still tend to tweak the JPEGS a little in Lightroom, but much less than with the RAW files. However, I do save the RAW files as well, in case the JPEGS don’t work out for a specific shoot.

Size and Weight: One the main reasons I chose to use this camera system is because of its small form and weight, as compared to a DSLR. It is nice and compact, and the weight feels great in the hands. Win-win for anyone who travels a lot and loves to take great photos.

Basic Specs that matter to me: The camera records a respectable 24.3 million pixels on an APS-C sensor; it has physical controls for ISO, shutter speed, exposure compensation, and more. I LOVE these controls! it is so much faster to change your settings with physical controls than digging into the cameras on-screen settings.

Final Thoughts: So this wasn’t meant to be any kind of exhaustive review, just my favorite things about the camera. I do love this camera, and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to take great pictures at an affordable price!

Panasonic Lumix LX10 Camera Review

If you’re looking for one of the best compact travel cameras out there, look no further than the Panasonic Lumix LX10. This camera packs a wallop when it comes to compact cameras and will certainly not disappoint.

Features

I really love this camera! It takes great photos and it gives you all of the same manual controls you would find in a much, much larger DSLR.

Gemtune DH-55 Panoramic Ball Head

This Gemtune Panoramic Head is a an affordable option for taking fantastic panoramic photographs. Simply dial in the correct settings based on your lens, and click away. When turning the head, you can feel the head click into place at the proper distance, without even looking.

This makes taking panoramas much quicker, and helps make stitching the photos together much quicker as well.

MeFoto Roadtrip Tripod

This tripod is simply fantastic! The main reasons I selected this tripod were:

  1. Size - This tripod is amazingly compact. When folded up, this beauty only takes up 15 inches of space, in length. No longer do you have carry huge tripods in order to get great pictures. This tripod also extends to a tall 64 inches. More than enough for most any application.

  2. Versatility - This tripod has multiple leg positions, along with twist lock extensions, that provide a very sturdy set-up. I have yet to find a position or place that I could not get a perfect set-up with this tripod. As a bonus, you can very quickly convert this into a monopod! It also comes with a precision ballhead, with Arca-Swiss compatibility.

  3. Price - At $147.00 (at the time of writing), this is an exceptional value. Comparable tripods can run from around $300-$900! If you make the choice to go with this tripod, you will not be disappointed.
